Nymburk in the Changes of Time - educational programme for secondary schools

The aim of this diploma thesis is to compile and subsequently implement an educational programme focused on the history of the royal town of Nymburk. The educational programme is called Křížem krážem Nymburkem or Nymburk in the Changes of Time. The aim of this work is also to reveal the weaknesses of the educational programme that has already been implemented and to suggest changes for further implementation. The first part of the thesis focuses on a comparison of educational programmes in Nymburk district offered by the following remembrance institutions: the State District Archive of Nymburk, located in Lysá nad Labem, the Polabské muzeum Poděbrady, the Polabské národopisné muzeum Přerov nad Labem, the Nymburk City Museum ant the Loučeň castle. In this part the thesis also deals with the theory of educational programmes, how the programmes should be created from a professional point of view, what educational elements should be included according to the age category. A suitable tool for primary school pupils is experiential pedagogy, which is also used in the submitted educational programme. After School Art Programme at the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region

The diploma thesis deals with informal leisure education in the gallery institution of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in Kutná Hora. The theoretical part introduces concepts related to education in cultural institutions. It moves from the definition of museums and galleries to the definition of education and other concepts related to the issue of non-unified terminology. It looks at the use of several terms with the same meaning, such as education and animation, and their use in the literature. It then describes the life and work of the artists Jitka and Květa Válová, whose life's work was presented by the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in the exhibition Jitka and Květa Válovy: A Path Destined by Fate. The artists and the exhibition are connected to an educational programme that was created during six months of work with children of younger school age in an afternoon leisure activity called Ne/kroužek. Ne/kroužek is patronised by The Learning Centre of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region. The activities of The Learning Centre and its programme offer for 2022 are also described in the theoretical part. Educational potential of the collection of ancient plaster casts at Duchcov Chateau

The diploma thesis focuses on the educational potential of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture, which is exhibited at the chateau Duchcov in an exhibition entitled Enchanted by Antiquity. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the introduction and history of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture belonging to the Institute of Classical Archaeology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and its selected parallels abroad. In this part of the thesis the educational programs and events in these foreign institutions are also discussed. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the current state of education for the exhibition Enchanted by Antiquity and mainly to the analysis of the educational potential of this exhibition. It also includes a practical part devoted to the preparation, realization and evaluation of the pilot educational program entitled On Mount Olympus. Following the tracks of Greek myths and legends, which is intended for the 2nd grade of elementary school. The Brewery Museum in Pilsen: history, exhibitions and educational programmes

The master thesis of the Brewery Museum in Pilsen, its history, exhibitions and educational programmes, is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with the brief history of the Brewery Museum in Pilsen, its current and planned exhibitions and the museum's cooperation with the Pilsen breweries. The following chapter deals with museum pedagogy, in addition to legislation and important concepts, the reader will also read useful advice for creating educational programmes. The next three chapters deal with creating educational programmess commissioned by the Brewery Museum. The third and fourth chapters contain a description of tours with educational elements. One is entitled "Following the traces of ancient Pilsen with a four-legged friend" and in addition to an outline of Pilsen's history, during this tour pupils will learn a lot of information about the life of ordinary people in medieval cities. The second programme is entitled "How liquid bread was brewed in Pilsen" and contains activities leading to an understanding of beer brewing patterns and the importance of brewing for the development of the city of Pilsen. The fifth chapter describes an educational programme called "Na den bečvářem" and introduces pupils to the traditional craft of cooperage and its offshoots of beverage.
The Secret of Monastic Walls: Educational programmes for the Franciscan Monastery in Prague

The diploma thesis deals with the establishment and implementation of educational programs for the first grade of elementary schools on the basis of the principles and approaches of good interpretation in the environment of the living Franciscan monastery at the Church of the Virgin Mary of the Sněžné in Prague. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the methodology of good interpretation, st. Francis of Assisi, the Order of the Franciscans and the history of the Franciscan monastery, its origin and construction development. l hygiene of preschool children in mikroregion Czech Budweis

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to educate parents in the field of the dental hygiene of their preschool children. The thesis also conducts a survey of the observed respondents from České Budějovice and evaluates if their children's dental care is adequate. The theoretical part deals with the importance of temporary teeth for the appropriate evolution of a child, the origin and causes of the tooth decay as well as the preventive measures which eliminate any oral cavity diseases. The practical part contains the educational programme which was formed via the entrance questionnaire and its aim was to improve the quality of dental hygiene of preschool children. The effectiveness of the educational programme was verified by the analysis of the entrance and final questionnaire and its consequential comparison.
Teaching about Eating Disorders at Elementary School

The objective of this document was the creation of an educational programme aimed at eating disorders. This programme was then verified at grades 6-9 in elementary school in the Pilsen region. Due to current circumstances everything was conducted online. The pupils of two parallel classes from grade 8 took part in this programme. One class was randomly selected as experimental. This class then had the intended programme that included presentations made in Powerpint, used the app Kahoot!, brainstorming and real life examples. In the second class - control group - the teaching method used included only a presentation made in Powerpoint. The author's teaching project in the experimental group and teaching common on the same topic in the control group were statistically evaluated on the basis of the results of the Pretest and two Posttests with the help of MS Excel 2016 and Statistica v. 12.
Educational program - Environmentally friendly consumer

This Bachelor thesis explains the meaning of the concept of environmentally friendly consumer and demonstrates how to become one while performing activities of everyday life. As part of the thesis, related concepts such as environmentally friendly product or service are explained and the following pages further outline situations when a human does not act friendly towards the planet's environment. Sustainable development and its primary pillars is another issue related to the topic of this thesis. Further attention is also dedicated to international labels and brands which are paying considerable attention to the sustainability of their products. The result of this thesis is the creation of an educational programme on the topic of environmentally friendly consumer. This programme consists of six activities which were chosen in order for them to correspond with age categories of aimed students and the educational programme of the high school education framework. The final programme was reviewed by several workers coming from an educational environment whose opinions regarding the quality and authenticity of the programme are summarized in the result section of this thesis.
Educational program-Drought, without water it is not possible

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create two proposals for an educational programme titled "Drought, or It doesn´t work without water" for the 4th - 5th grade of Czech elementary school (children aged 9 - 12 years) and 9th grade (children aged 14 - 15 years) focused on drought, which could be used in practice by environmental centres' instructors or teachers of science. The content of the literature review in the first part is the definition, history, tools of environmental education (EE in English; EVVO in Czech) and its inclusion of teaching in schools. The second part of the research describes the types, causes, effects of drought and its effect on soil degradation. The next part of the bachelor's thesis describes the origin and proposal of educational programmes, their partial testing and reflection from teachers. The work includes methodical instructions, worksheets and aids to both teaching programmes.
